Magnolia Montessori Academy opened its doors in August 2013 and was started by a group of like-minded parents who had a wish to provide more Montessori education in a neighborhood setting to more students in Polk County. Magnolia Montessori’s campus is located in the heart of Lakeland, Florida.
We respect the child's freedom to choose, move, choose their work, and correct their own mistakes.
Children learn by watching and interacting with other children. Teachers learn each student's learning style.
Children use sensory-based learning tools that isolate a skill or concept, encourage hands-on learning, and problem-solving.

MMA's public charter school serves
students in Kindergarten through
Grade 8.
