Melissa Gotauco
- Earned a 4 year athletic scholarship to attend and play Division 1 softball at Radford University which competes in the Big South Conference in Southwest Virginia
- While playing at Radford, achievements included: Big South Rookie of the year, Big South player of the year, VA Sports information directors Player of the year for the state of Virginia and still holds many offensive records to date
- Bachelors in Interdisciplinary studies from Radford University, Radford Virginia with a concentration in Psychology and Health
- Invited to the USA Olympic trials for softball in 2000
- Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016 to alma mater, Gar-Field HS in Woodbridge, Virginia for softball
